Oil prices to slide this week
Following weeks of steady hikes, oil firms in the Philippines will implement rollbacks on their retail prices this week.

Oil firms are set to reduce the prices of gasoline and diesel by P0.20 per liter, and kerosene by P0.50 per liter.When will the adjustments take effect?
Some local players will implement adjustments on pump prices as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, and Unioil will trim down the price of gasoline and diesel by P0.20 per liter each.
Further, companies shall conduct a P0.50-per-liter reduction on kerosene too.
Other local players are expected to follow suit.
The movement in pricing will take effect as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (September 26) on some companies.
Last week, oil firms in the country raised the price of gasoline by P2 per liter, diesel by P2.50 per liter, and kerosene by P2 per liter.
