  • When will the Omoda 5 be launched in the Philippines?

The Omoda 5 will be introduced in the Philippines in time for the local brand launch.
  • What can customers expect from the Omoda 5

The Omoda 5 is fitted with dual 10.25-inch screens, a 4.0 human-machine interface system and advanced driver-assistance system.
  • In a statement, the company shared that the nameplate will be unveiled in the latter part of the year in time for the brand’s official introduction locally.

    What does Omoda mean?

Per Omoda Philippines, the brand is based on two words.

The initial letter in the marque (which is also derived from Oxygen, a necessary element of life) indicates surprise, positivity and energy. On the other hand, Moda mean’s modern and fashionable.

“As a brand, Omoda promises to deliver vehicles with sleek exterior styling and high-tech features,” Omoda Philippines noted.

To note, the aforementioned marque is a sub-brand of the Chery Group. While that is the case in the global scale, Omoda Philippines might be working independently with Chery’s distributor in the country, United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated.

Meanwhile, Omoda Philippines assured that the public can expect more products from the brand soon.
