Over 100 Riders Participated in Premier Mobil Super Moto Endurance Ride 2019

More than a hundred motorcycle riders participated in the first Mobil Super Moto Endurance Ride 2019 held in northern Cebu.

Speed, control, and shipshape rides enabled Mario Borbon, Ralph Kintanar, Peter Alvarez, and Francis Remedio to lead the four categories--100CC-299CC, 300CC-599CC, 600CC-999CC, 1000CC and up--respectively.

Each of the winners took home sets of Mobil Super Moto lubricants, Maxxis/CST tires, and a total of PHP75,000 in cash prizes.

Mobil Super Moto Endurance Ride 2019 features a 300-kilometer route, which looped around Cebu's Mandaue North Drive and passed through the scenic route of Daan Bantayan, San Remegio and Balamban, then back. Eighteen local and national motorcycle clubs were represented in the event.

"There are still some Filipinos who are apprehensive about riding motorcycles due to the risks associated with motorcycle riding, which can be avoided with correct riding and road safety practices. To further this advocacy, Maxxis Tires Philippines recently launched five new motorcycle tires that meet the various pattern and grip requirements of Filipino motorcycle riders for different terrains. Proper selection of lubricants and tires for particular vehicles and road types is a precursor to safety.

The first 30 finishers of each category were also given a silver medal, finisher's certificate, Mobil Super Moto oil, and tokens from Mobil and Maxxis/CST tires.
