PH oil players to close Aug. with pump price cuts

After conducting an increase of up to P1.20 per liter last week, local oil players shall cut down the prices of their products at the pump this week.

    Aside from that, Petron and Seaoil are also set to slash the price of kerosene by P1.85 per liter.

    The adjustments — which other firms are expected to similarly conduct — will be effective today (August 27).

    It can be recalled that in the previous week, local players added P1 per liter on gasoline and kerosene, as well as P1.20 per liter on diesel.
