PH-spec Kia Seltos SX now inside PH showrooms

The new Kia Seltos SX has finally reached the Philippines.

AC Motors confirmed the arrival of the sport utility vehicle’s (SUV) top-spec version, saying that clients may see the option in the metal at Kia dealers nationwide.

The new Kia Seltos SX’s availability in showrooms followed the introduction of the nameplate’s base option (LX) and mid-grade variation (EX) back in November 2023.

“We encourage and invite our customers to visit their nearest Kia dealership to see, feel, and experience the new 2024 Kia Seltos,” Kia Philippines Chief Operating Officer Brian Buendia said.

“Now that all three variants of the 2024 Kia Seltos are here, our customers can discover which new specifications fit their needs, requirements, and budget. The 2024 Kia Seltos SX brings a refined presence, ease and convenience, enhanced comfort, and extensive safety features ideal for families and individuals who want a vehicle that lets them get the best out of life,” the executive added.

 Kia Philippines Motor Corporation’s latest offering measures 4,385 millimeters (mm) long, 1,800 mm wide, and 1,635 mm tall with a 2,630 mm wheelbase.

Giving it its standout character compared to earlier-introduced models are the prominent grille design with added accents, front and rear bumpers with updated turn signals, LED fog lamps, functional roof rails, satin-finish belt trims, chrome trims, and connected star-map signature LED taillamps. Aside from that, it sports semi-gloss black, 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels.

Sitting inside the cabin of the global SUV nameplate top-of-the-line version is the panoramic 10.25-inch instrument panel sitting beside an equally-sized infotainment display that has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The offering also boasts a sound mood lamp.

A myriad of comfort and convenience technologies are outfitted in the new Kia Seltos SX which include a new panoramic sunroof, dual zone automatic air conditioning, front seat cooling, electronic parking brakes, ambient lighting, keyless entry, and wireless mobile charging.

The 2024 Kia Seltos SX is slapped with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline direct-inject mill that can deliver up to 138 horses and 242 Newton-meters of pulling power. It is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission with selectable driving modes.

 In addition, the new Kia Seltos SX comes with six airbags, Smart Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go ability, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, High Beam Assist and Parking Distance Warning.

Offered with unique colors such as Pluton Blue and Snow White Pearl with Black Roof, the 2024 Kia Seltos SX is priced at P1.688 million. It is packaged with a five-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty and round-the-clock roadside assistance.
