Price of diesel, kerosene to go down for 2nd time this month

fuel pump

With the country now on its second week of strict lockdown following the resurgence of COVID-19 cases attributed to the highly-transmissible Delta variant, oil firms are to cut the prices of diesel and kerosene at the pump.

Based on their respective advisories for tomorrow’s pump price movement, Petron, Caltex and Cleanfuel will be slashing P0.30 per liter on diesel while retaining the price of gasoline.

On the other hand, Petron and Caltex will also be slashing P0.40 per liter on the price of kerosene.

Other fuel companies are expected to implement the same adjustment tomorrow.

Last week, local oil players reduced the price of gasoline by P0.65 per liter, diesel by P0.70 per liter, and kerosene by P0.75 per liter.
