"We are delighted to have SsangYong’s support with three superb and capable vehicles and are very excited about the trip – watch this space!”

The Sahara Challenge

The challenge will start from the Bailey production facility in Bristol. Afterwards, they will go to Spain and Portugal and across the Strait of Gibraltar into Morocco. Afterwards, they will go over the Atlas Mountains and as far south as the edge of the Sahara Desert – the birthplace of the original caravans – before returning home. The entire team will be made up of representatives from Bailey of Bristol, the Caravan and Motorhome Club and media guests. Their journey will take them around 20 days to complete. Aside from the long journey, the team will have to face a range of potentially extreme road and weather conditions along their travels.
