Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) started lending three units of mini-hauler Suzuki Carry to the local government unit of Marikina City.
Last February 6, the local distributor for the compact car maker turned over the Suzuki Super Carry units that will be under Marikina City local government unit’s use for a period of time in their bid to help Filipinos in any way possible.
Marikina Councilor, Loreto Tolentino Jr., Suzuki-ANC Group General Manager Francis Tayo and Suzuki Auto Marikina Branch Head Edmundo Gutierrez, Jr. graced the handover ceremonies.
The three units—coming in UV, Pick Up, and FILCAB variants—are eyed to provide Marikina City with more options when it comes to the right vehicle for every need. These are expected to aid the Marikina local government to deliver round trips daily all while saving on fuel expense.
The current version of the Suzuki Carry (brought September 2019) is powered by a K15B 1.5-liter engine that can dish out an ample 96 horsepower and 135Nm of torque.
