Vios Cup Season 5 Goes South, All-New Toyota Vios to be Unveiled to Public

Motorsports fans, unite! The second race of the Vios Cup is happening today, July 29, south of Metro Manila.

To be staged at Filinvest, Alabang, the second race of the Vios Cup Season 5 will be an exciting one as a total of 52 racers--composed of 46 drivers and six celebrities--will be battling it out to prove their mettle on the track.

Coming from an exciting race last April, gearheads can expect an even more heart-pounding race with Sam Milby, Diego Loyzaga, Sofia Andres, Chie Filomeno, Fabio Ide, and Troy Montero comprising the celebrity racer lineup.

In a statement, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) President Satoru Suzuki said that, "I am very pleased to see the program has developed our Vios Cup racers and their level of driving skills these past years. This is seen in how a number of drivers have upgraded from racing in the promotional class to the sporting class & even battling it out in the international arena." The second race of the Vios Cup Season 5 will definitely be more exciting not only for motorsports fans but for the people in attendance as the event also serves as the public launch of the all-new Toyota Vios. The gates open at 9:00 a.m., and as always, admission is free.
