Xpeng to start biz in PH this Q3 2026

MANILA: Chinese AI and electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Xpeng is set to enter the Philippine market in the third quarter of 2026.

In a statement, the company announced that it will establish its presence in the country through its direct subsidiary, Xpeng Philippines.

Highlighting its commitment to supporting the country's transition to sustainable mobility through premium, AI-powered vehicles, XPeng will introduce two electric models as part of its initial rollout.

Xpeng currently operates in more than 60 countries and regions across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Latin America. Its global network includes more than 380 overseas stores and key regional hubs in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Thailand, and Mexico.

To note, the company designs, develops, manufactures, and markets smart electric vehicles equipped with its in-house full-stack advanced driver-assistance system, intelligent in-car operating system, and other proprietary core vehicle technologies.

• X9 seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle 
• P7+ five-seater, fastback
• G9 midsize sport utility vehicle 
• G6 crossover 
• P7 sedan
