The 2025 Toyota Wigo gets fabric seats across all variants, with modest bolstering. The materials used are durable and well-suited for city use. But they lack the plush feel of more premium models. Hard plastics dominate the dashboard and door panels. That’s expected in this segment. The fit and finish are commendably consistent and tight. Color themes are usually black or dark grey. Chrome or silver accents surround the air vents, gear shifter, and door handles. Depending on the variant, the 2025 Toyota Wigo is equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It’s connected to a multi-speaker audio system. The touchscreen has a decent resolution. The interface is intuitive but is occasionally sluggish. The J model comes with a more basic infotainment unit with a standard audio system with Bluetooth connectivity. The instrument cluster is simple and functional. It comprise analogue gauges, flanked by a digital multi-information display (MID).

Designed for city driving, the 2023 Toyota Wigo typically achieves a mileage of approximately 10.5 kmpl in stop-and-go traffic conditions. However, its fuel efficiency impressively rises to around 20 kmpl on the highway. Although the city mileage may not be exceptionally high, the Wigo remains a reasonably fuel-efficient car, making it a practical choice for urban commuters.

The 2025 Toyota Wigo offers decent ride comfort for city driving, courtesy its compact dimensions and light steering. The suspension system comprises of MacPherson strut in front and torsion beam setup at the back. The hatchback handles minor road imperfections well. But it feels firm over rough surfaces. While not sporty, the 2025 Toyota Wigo’s handling is agile enough for congested urban roads. There’s noticeable body roll at higher speeds or sharp turns. Overall, the ride quality is composed for daily commuting and short trips.

The 2025 Toyota Wigo J is equipped with a three-cylinder, 1.0-litre petrol engine that produces 65 PS/89 Nm. It’s paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The hatchback offers decent acceleration for daily commuting in tight traffic, aided by its compact size and nimble handling. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) in the higher models ensure smooth gear transitions that enhance comfort in start-and-stop traffic. On highways, the Toyota Wigo feels stable at moderate speed. But it often struggles during overtaking or on a steep incline. The powertrain is more efficient than sporty. It prioritizes fuel economy and practicality over outright performance.

The 2025 Toyota Wigo’s safety system blends standard structure and active driver aids. The car comes with side-impact beams, dual front airbags, three-point seat belts, antilock braking, vehicle stability control, brake assist, traction control and hill-start assist.
