Montero Sport, The SUV that has a futuristic look and just keeps getting better each year
I used to drive a 2011 Montero Sport, and the overall experience was fantastic, especially with its mileage. Fast forward to 2022 we sold it and got a brand new Mitsubishi Montero sport GLS 2.4 4x2 AT. As expected it takes the tried and tested Montero Sport brand to higher heights with its futuristic design, the reliable MIVEC engine and overall experience. I daresay it's one of the SUVs that is fun to drive with its sedan-like handling. The standard of using the same engine for all variants is a plus for customers, as they will get the same bang for their buck with their budget compared to other competitors. Mitsubishi indeed has another winner in their SUV. A fantastic and fun drive.

Impressive features
In my opinion, the Toyota Innova is the pinnacle of comfort. In terms of cabin comfort and practicality, few cars on the market can compete with the Toyota Innova. It has been designed with unique and powerful components to withstand the rigors of the automobile market. The engine has a displacement of 2946 cc and an automatic torque converter transmission. The ride quality is also excellent, with few bumps felt inside the cabin. It is considered as the ideal ride for long-distance trips. It is a very popular SUV that flaunts a very powerful engine that never disappoints its owners.

Sleek and stylish appearance

Perfect 6: The Toyota Innova is the perfect car for 6 people, courtesy of the second-row captain seats. This makes traveling more comfortable
Practical: The Innova is a practical all-rounder. Folding up the last row creates more space to carry luggage. Drop the second row and you can roll out a mattress
Reliable powertrain: Toyota engines are a benchmark when it comes to reliability. The 2.8-liter diesel unit produces a handsome 171 PS and 360 Nm torque
Highway Cruiser: The Innova is a great highway cruiser with a powerful engine. The ride is well-balanced and steady

Things we don’t like
Dated-looking interior design
Seats feel too rigid
Complicated third-row folding seats
Lacks refinement: The 2.8-liter diesel engine, though powerful, lacks refinement. You can feel the engine noise inside the cabin
Interior quality: The Innova’s interior has a lot of hard plastics. At its price point, Toyota should have used better material in the cabin.
Infotainment lacks features: The multimedia touchscreen doesn’t get Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, which most of the car’s segment competitors have
Lethargic during climbs: The powertrain takes more time to respond during an uphill climb. The same happens during quick maneuvers in urban traffic. The torque delivery is a bit delayed
