2024 Toyota GR GT Cup registration starts

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially opened the registration for the fifth season of the Toyota Racing Gran Turismo (TGR GT) Cup-Philippines.

According to the leading automotive distributor in the country, those interested may already register through the link below: https://tinyurl.com/GTCup2024Registration. Winners will get cash prizes, original GR merchandise, and slots in the Autocross and Asia Finals competitions.

For this year, the TGR GT Cup-Philippine leg shall feature a new format as qualifiers (set on July 26-August 3) will undergo a time-attack challenge — with the 40 fastest players advancing to the quarterfinals.

Further, the top 20 players in the virtual racing series’ quarterfinals will then advance to the semis, while the leading 10 racers there will move to the national finals.

Finally, the top three sim drivers in national finals will represent the Philippines at the Asia Finals in Malaysia, scheduled later within the year.

Registrants may participate in the qualifier online or on-site (at TMP Marketing office in Makati), but will compete in the quarterfinals, semi-finals and national finals at a given venue in Metro Manila on August 17-18.

To take part in the qualifiers, players must be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines, 14 years old or older at the time of registration and have an active PlayStation Network (PSN) account and active PS PLUS subscription.

The TGR GT Cup-Philippines is sponsored by Petron and GT Radial, and in cooperation with Seiko. It is also supported by Toyota Financial Services Philippines, myToyota Wallet, Denso, AVT, 3M, ROTA, Tuason Racing, OMP, and Kinto One.
