ADVISORY: DPWH to conduct repairs on NCR roads until Aug. 30

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that road repairs will be conducted during the course of the coming long weekend along various roads within the National Capital Region starting later tonight.

    • In an advisory, the agency said that the Department of Public Works and Highways will implement road reblocking works at 11 p.m. of August 26.

    • Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) northbound, Quezon City along Santolan MRT Station (EDSA Carousel Bus Lane), after P. Tuazon Flyover to Aurora Tunnel (third lane from center island, fast lane), after Aurora Boulevard to New York (third lane from island, intermittent section), after Kamuning/ Kamias Road to JAC Liner Bus Station (beside center island)
    • C-5 Road southbound (second lane) Makati City
    • Fairview Avenue southbound near Fleur De Lis to Labayane (first lane from center island) 
    • Katipunan Avenue C-5 southbound corner C.P. Garcia Avenue after intersection (second block from center island)
    • Cloverleaf EDSA northbound to segment of North Luzon Expressway northbound (outer lane) 
    • Roosevelt Avenue near corner EDSA (outer lane)
    • EDSA southbound Quezon City U-turn slot Service Road in front of GMA Building, Service Road third block of Kamuning Road intersection, along Service Road second block in front of Kamuning Police Station 
    • C-5 Service Road in front of Global Oil Gasoline Station
    • EDSA southbound Quezon City along EDSA southbound (Balingasa Creek to Oliveros Footbridge)

    The MMDA said that the aforementioned roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. Tuesday, August 30.

    The agency also urged that for the time being, motorists should take alternative routes.
