Brembo is 'Gran Turismo 7’ official braking systems technical partner

The seventh installment in the "Gran Turismo" series dropped last week, marking a one-year-and-eight-month-long wait since Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital’s sim racing video game was announced back in 2020.

  • What is Brembo's role in the "Gran Turismo 7" game?

Brembo is the "Gran Turismo 7" official technical partner in braking systems.
  • How can players use Brembo brakes in GT7?

"Gran Turismo 7" players can access Brembo items through the game's Tuning Shop.
  • What Brembo products are available in the "Gran Turismo 7" game?

Brembo's Upgrade systems, including the carbon ceramic discs and GT|BM calipers, will be made available in GT7.
  • For the uninitiated, "Gran Turismo" rose to popularity because of how “realistic” the game is, especially when compared to other racing games that were available when "Gran Turismo" was released for the original PlayStation. Players can customize their cars and feel the driving dynamics based on the changes made to their cars in-game.

Providing its expertise in braking systems for "Gran Turismo 7" is the Italian high-performance brake manufacturer Brembo. As the game's official technical partner in braking systems, the Bergamo-based brake maker is offering its most distinctive and highest performance braking systems in the Gran Turismo 7 Tuning Shop — the virtual window where players will be able to upgrade and customize their original cars, enhancing their competitiveness while racing.

"Gran Turismo 7," available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, offers more than 400 cars from over 50 automotive manufacturers at launch, and all cars whose braking systems can be tuned in the Tuning Shop can be equipped with Brembo solutions.

As the exclusive partner in the category, Brembo is making its Upgrade systems available to players, including carbon ceramic discs and GT|BM calipers in eight different colors.

Brembo’s profile and values will be visible in the "Gran Turismo 7" Brand Central and in the Brand Central Museum. In addition, Brembo’s branding will appear on the tracks featured in the game.
