Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI), an organization that is comprised of members of the Philippine motoring media, has named the
Honda CRV 1.6 SX Diesel as its
Car of the Year-Philippines (COTY-P), with the
Mitsubishi Strada GLS 4x4 MT as its
Truck of the Year-Philippines (TOTY-P), and the
Suzuki Raider R150 FI and
Suzuki GSX-R 1000 R as the inaugural
Motorcycle of the Year-Philippines (MOTY-P) for the
Commuter and
Leisure Class, respectively,
for 2017.
For the Car of the Year, the Honda CRV 1.6 SX Diesel was chosen from
23 category winners while for theTruck of the Year, the field was limited to just
two choices. For the Motorcyle of the Year, the Commuter Class had
17 entries while the Leisure Class had
13.
