The Carmudi App: 5 Features that Make Car Searching Easier

As you may already know, Carmudi has an app for mobile devices that users can download from Google Play and Apple app stores. The Carmudi app is designed to simplify and streamline the car buying process, thereby making it easy for you to find the right car for your particular needs, budget, and personal taste. If you've downloaded our app, we would like to take you on a quick guide through five handy functions that you'll find inside. With these tools, you'll be able to sift through over 10,000+ new and used cars for sale in our inventory very easily.

Carmudi App Filters

If you already have a car in mind, you'll surely enjoy the number of filters our app provides. After you select the type of vehicle you're looking for, whether it's cars, motorcycles, or commercial vehicles, you'll be introduced to the Carmudi app's Filters section which consists of nine categories, namely:

• Make (the brand of the vehicle)
• Year (the vehicle's year of release)
• Region (the location of the vehicle)
• Condition (new or used)
• Mileage (the distance traveled by the vehicle)
• Transmission (manual or automatic)
• Fuel (petrol or diesel)
• Seller (verified or private)
• Color

We've ensured the comprehensiveness and accuracy of our filters, so if you're looking for, say, a black 1993 Honda Civic EJ1 with manual transmission from a reputable dealership near you, if they've got it, you'll find it.

Save to Favorites

After entering the specifications you're looking for in the Filters section and narrowing down your search, you can save the results to your favorites with one simple tap. Once added to your favorites, the car will then appear in the My Garage section where you can revisit it from time to time and see if it's still available. This is a great way to monitor a particular new or used car for sale that may start out too pricey but drop just within your budget range given some time. You can also use the My Garage section to compare and evaluate the vehicles you're interested in. A quick note: you'll need to create your own Carmudi account and sign in to use this feature.

Notifications

Don't have the money to bankroll your car purchase yet? No problem. After you've bookmarked a vehicle, the Carmudi app takes note of your preferences and sends you a notification via email if a car that matches the make and model of your favorited car comes along. So if you can't afford the car today, or if another buyer beats you to it, you can simply wait for the notification to come in saying that a similar car is now available.

Search Other Car Dealerships

If you can't find the right vehicle at the car dealerships within your location, the pickings might just be better elsewhere. Fortunately, the Carmudi app let's you see what they have at the dealership at the regions across yours. You can also scroll through the inventory of a particular dealership by clicking on on the 'Show more from this dealer' text. Want to enhance the security of your transaction? The Seller option on our filters page allows you to select Verified Sellers Only, thereby ensuring that you'll be dealing with only the most trusted names in the business.

Contact Seller

No need to go to the trouble of scrolling through a particular listing to search for a contact number or email address, inputting that info on your phone, and then dialing or messaging to contact the seller. Each listing comes with an icon that lets you either send an email (the envelope icon) or call the seller directly (the phone icon), allowing you to easily contact your preferred car dealer or private seller. Just click on any of these icons and you'll be able to start using your selected mode of communication directly.
