Cleanfuel x Smart partnership

Independent oil player Cleanfuel has announced its partnership with Philippines’ mobile service provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) that will make connectivity devices more accessible and affordable to customers.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What can Cleanfuel patrons enjoy with the Cleanfuel-Smart partnership?

Customers who will fuel up with at least P500 single receipt purchase of any products at the pump may purchase the Smart Bro Pocket WiFi or the Prepaid Home WiFi devices at half the suggested retail price.
  • For how long will this promo last?

The partnership between the two Filipino companies will be until the end of 2021.
  • Based on the signed agreement between the two companies, motorists who have a P500 single receipt purchase of Clean91, AutoLPG, Premium95 and Diesel products can take advantage of the 50-percent discount on Smart Bro pocket WiFi and Prepaid Home WiFi devices. The aforementioned promo will be up to December 31 and can be availed at any Cleanfuel stations nationwide.

Leading the signing of the agreement held at Cleanfuel Olongapo are Cleanfuel Group of Companies President Jesus Suntay and PLDT and Smart Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Sales Group Alex Caeg. Joining them are Cleanfuel Vice President Ralph Atienza, Director Marco Atienza and Head of Marketing Kristoffer Lim.

“We are honored to partner with Smart, one of the largest telecom providers in the country. At Cleanfuel, providing affordable and quality fuel has been our driving force. This synergy brings mobility and connectivity together,” Suntay said.

The Smart Bro Pocket WiFi can accommodate up to five devices to maximize Smart's mobile network through fast and reliable internet access. On the other hand, the Prepaid Home WiFi is a plug-and-play device which allows the connection of up to 10 devices.

"The Internet is a bridge that keeps us Filipinos connected. The unprecedented challenges posed by COVID-19 have taught us technology's limitless possibilities, which we at PLDT and Smart will continue to bring to all Filipinos to make life better,” Caeg, for his part, said.

“We, at PLDT and Smart, thank Cleanfuel for being our partner in making connectivity solutions more accessible to all through this program. We have now made available affordable high-speed wireless broadband devices to motorists anytime through Cleanfuel’s stations, which are open 24 hours a day. Together, we can help more Filipinos in their journey towards building a Better World," he added.
