The 3.17-kilometer two-way, two-lane connecting road to Tangub City in Misamis Occidental and Municipality of Tubod in Lanao del Norte will be Mindanao’s longest bridge once finished. The aforementioned project has a budget of P7.37 billion.

In a statement, the department shared that the bridge project has an established Multi-Partite Monitoring Team to properly monitor and complete the program.

Expected to be completed by December 2023, the Panguil Bay Bridge Project will cut down to only seven minutes the travel time between Tangub to Tubod compared to the one hour and 30 minutes via Roll-On Roll-Off vessels operating from Ozamis to Mucas or land travel through Panguil Bay road of around two hours over a total length of 100 kilometers.
