Fuel prices hike for 3rd time in Sept.

Oil firms are increasing the prices of fuel products at the pump for the third time this month today as the country approaches the final quarter of the year.

Based on respective advisories, Petron, Shell, and Caltex will raise diesel prices by P0.35 per liter, while Cleanfuel have an increase of P0.30 per liter.

The first three companies mentioned are expected to implement a price hike in gasoline prices by P0.45 per liter while the independent oil player adjusted upward by P0.30 per liter.

Lastly, kerosene pump prices will be raised by P0.15 per liter.

Similar adjustments are expected for other fuel companies as well.

Last week, the price of gasoline went up by P0.50 per liter, diesel by P0.95 per liter and kerosene by P0.60 per liter.
