Hella launches lube line for PH market

MANILA: Aftermarket giant Hella has formally dipped its finger in the hotly-contested lubricant segment by introducing its myriad of engine oils for two- and four-wheelers.

Tested for tropical road conditions, the newly-revealed products feature German technology that ensures balanced protection and endurance for automobiles and motorcycles.

“Every drop represents more than just performance — it’s a reflection of our respect for those who spend their days and nights on the road. Hella engine oils are engineered with purpose: to perform, to protect, and to care,” Hella Philippines Country Manager Jason de Leon said.

Meanwhile, Hella Asia Head of Asia Andy See said that the launch of the new engine oil line is also embedded in the “Driven by Care — The Hella Way” campaign.

“Every product we create — from lighting and horns to engine oils — carries the same promise: to protect lives, enhance performance, and care for those who keep our roads alive. Whether on two wheels or four, Hella is committed to keeping every journey safe and reliable,” he shared.

De Leon is confident that the Hella engine oils would do well in the country as seen in other countries — adding that the said offerings are also ready being in markets abroad for around 10 years already.

He also expressed firm belief that the introduction of the Hella engine oils in the Philippines is timely as the number of motorcycle users locally continues to grow.

For four wheels:

• Xvance GP Ultra (fully synthetic; for gasoline and diesel; in one-liter packaging)

o   5W30

o   5W40

• Xvance GP 7000 (fully synthetic; for gasoline; in one- and four-liter packaging

o   5W40

o   10W40

o   20W50

• Xdurance Series (for diesel; in one-, four-, and six-liter packaging)

o   GC Ultra (fully synthetic; 10W40)

o   GC5000 (synthetic; 15W40)

o   GC4000 (synthetic; 15W40)

For two wheels (in one-liter packaging):

• Xvance 4T Ultra (10W50; fully synthetic racing)
• Xvance 4T Motor (10W40; fully synthetic)
• Xvance 4T Scooter (5W40 and 10W40)
