Further the major enhancement that can be found in the new Honda CR-V is the advanced Real-Time All-Wheel Drive (AWD) capability slapped to the top-of-the-line version.
Photo by Cesar Guiderone Miguel“This system is engineered to deliver more dynamic performance, providing absolute stability and cornering precision. By seamlessly managing power across various driving scenarios, drivers will feel safe during cornering because the vehicle does not turn less than the intended path,” HCPI explained in a statement.
“On straight line roads, drivers can have peace of mind with accelerator operation because the vehicle powerfully moves forward without tires slipping, even on wet roads. As a result, this variant provides an unparalleled sense of security and refined mobility,” it added.
Aesthetic wise, the new Honda CR-V is fitted with Piano Black accents. The same portions are seen in the mid-grade variation — topped off with rear fog lamps.
Meanwhile, the model’s base variation is expected to cater to a different customer line with its signature “HuNT” emblem (solely available to the Philippine market), glossy copper accents on the front grille and fog lights, black wheel arch garnish, silver front garnish, and running board.
Across its lineup, the new Honda CR-V is outfitted with black leather seats — with the RS trim receiving the red stitching upgraded with RS branding. All three variants also feature a three-spoke leather steering wheel, further improved in the RS variant with a black garnish.
Additionally, the head-up display feature — which was once available solely for the RS option — can now be seen in the VX. Aside from that, both the RS and VX variants now have Individual Driving Mode, allowing for a personalized connection between the car and the driver.
