MANILA: Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) has launched the latest iteration of the Creta nameplate.
Per the local wing of the South Korean carmaker, the crossover is touted as a vehicle for “young, goal-oriented individuals who are always on the go.”
The unveiling of the new Hyundai Creta took place earlier today where it boasted its new look and enhanced features. Here are some of its notable updates.
Outside, the new Hyundai Creta sports a redesigned fascia. Its front end is highlighted by the black chrome Parametric Jewel Grille flanked by signature LED position lamps.
The squarish face of the crossover is made more stout, thanks to a beefy chin.
Onto its sides are blacked-out claddings, which come in the form of plastic wheel arches and side sill garnishes. They accentuate the vehicle’s two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 215/60 series tires.
At the back, it gets a discreet spoiler with an integrated brake lamp, a decent sized window, taillamps that mimic the look of its front illumination, and a rear bumper that echoes the robust look of its bow.
The cabin of the new Hyundai Creta looks modern while incorporating features that lean towards style and functionality.
Welcoming the driver is a leather steering wheel (polyurethane for base variant) with multi-functional controls. Past it is a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster combined with a 10.25-inch LCD infotainment screen.
Those who will be picking the entry-level model will get a 4.2-inch instrument panel and an eight-inch central display system.
Keeping occupants comfortable are a set of leatherette seats (fabric for base trim).
