Isuzu PH updates Makati dealership

After more than four decades of operations, the Isuzu Makati dealership has been updated.

Outgoing Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) President Hajime Koso  said that the 43-year-old establishment is now compliant to the IOS (Isuzu Outlet Standard) design.

The newly renovated Isuzu Makati — operated by Isuzu’s long-time partner Gencars Inc. — is an 8,815-square-meter (sqm) dealership that can fit six units inside its 545-sqm showroom and has 22 bays in the 4,370-sqm service area.

Aside from Isuzu Makati, Gencars (which is under the leadership of company chair Edgard Cabangon and president Lerma Nacnac) has six other branches under the brand: Isuzu Legaspi, Isuzu Naga, Isuzu San Pablo, Isuzu Batangas, Isuzu Batangas City and Isuzu Sta.Rosa.

“The new showroom facility will provide a better experience and satisfactionIO to our customers in the Makati area,” Koso said.

Koso expressed belief that given the location and the improved facilities of the revamped Isuzu Makati, the dealership “will be getting higher network share.”

Meanwhile, IPC Assistant Sales Division Head Robert Carlos shared that Isuzu Makati won the Dealer of the Year Award (DOYA) in 2004 and 2005, aside from the numerous recognitions pertaining to sales, service, parts and customer satisfaction.

“We are confident that Isuzu Makati will be getting more awards and recognitions especially now that it has a modernized and much-improved facilities that are fully compliant with Isuzu Outlet Standards and capable of sales and servicing all our product lines, from the D-Max, mu-X to our heavy-duty trucks,” he added.

For his part, Cabangon said that being one of IPC’s longtime partners, Gencars shares the same desire to enhance customer experience on their dealerships. 

“With our new IOS-compliant Isuzu Makati, we are confident that our loyal customers, as well as first time visitors, will appreciate the upgrades, along with our excellent products and service,” he noted.
