Oil companies reveal bigger fuel price hike today
Fuel companies will today implement a bigger price hike for their pump products — the fourth upward movement for the month of September alone.
In their individual advisories Monday, Pilipinas Shell, Petron and Caltex will be increasing the prices of gasoline and diesel by P0.80 per liter. Cleanfuel, on the other hand, will only add P0.65 per liter on its gasoline product and P0.75 on diesel.
Aside from that, the first three mentioned firms will also jack up the price of kerosene by P0.85 per liter.
Other companies are expected to follow suit.
Last week, the price of diesel went up by as much as P0.35 per liter, gasoline by P0.45 per liter, and kerosene by P0.15 per liter.
