The Philippine economy has been continuously recovering from the ill-effects of the pandemic and no one is definitely complaining about it.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • When do we celebrate Father's Day this 2022?

This year's Father's Day will fall on June 19.
  • However, it is during these times that local automotive distributors have become very occupied in coming up with their numerous strategies and campaigns. Such actions have surely left their executives drained and exhausted.

Since Father’s Day is coming up, Carmudi Philippines asked some of the dads in the local vehicle industry on what would make them grin from ear to ear while celebrating the special occasion on Sunday.

Here are their answers to the question “what does a car guy father like you want this Father’s Day?”

    Kia Philippines President Manny Aligada

“For me, I have always wanted to drive a medium-sized sport utility vehicle. In my case it’s the Sorento! The styling is modern and upbeat, features are significant, practical and up-to-date and the engine is a powerful diesel. Executive-looking for weekdays, yet good for weekends out of town — perfect for my lifestyle and today’s driving requirements.”

    Rommel Gutierrez

“I want to receive a real car, particularly the RAV4 Hybrid. I like the vehicle because it is hybrid, thus conserving fuel and producing less carbon emissions. Plus, the size of the RAV4 is just enough for me.”

    Geely Angeles

“I just want to be pampered on that day and enjoy it with my family.”

    Willy Tee Ten

    • Autohub Group of Companies President Willy Tee Ten

“The first thing that a father wants is the love from their children and their family. As far as cars are concerned, it would be nice to have a car that would fit the need of the father and at the same time fuel efficient because the prices of gasoline and diesel has gone up so high.”

    Chris Yu

“I think the opportunity to safely travel with my daughter. She was born in 2020 so her view of the world is very limited due to the pandemic. It would be nice to travel freely again without worries about health.”

    Louie Soriano

“Of course, it's the Civic. It symbolizes success in work or personal life.”
