The greatest weakness of the Grand Cherokee L is that, in the three-row SUV segment, you will find better all-around choices. Rivals offer larger cargo areas and more third-row legroom. Its design is not very appealing, and the cabin doesn’t give a premium feel. Additionally, the driver assistance features of Grand Cherokee L are lackluster in comparison to many of its competitors. It is also pricier than the other three-row models on the market. If Jeep can justify the premium pricing of Grand Cherokee L compared to segment rivals, then only this three-row SUV can stand out.
