Honda cars in the National Capital Region
Honda is a brand known for upscaling their car models with some of the best features known to the passenger vehicle industry. While its vehicles are priced moderately higher than most of its competitors in each segment, Honda's cars are great value for money because of the driving experience they offer.
The National Capital Region (Metro Manila) is one of the best places to spot a Honda car. A great number of residents in this region are either in the middle working class or upper class, and have the capacity to purchase the cars from this near-luxurious brand.
This Japanese automotive manufacturer currently holds 11 percent of the local car market and is the third best selling car brand in the Philippines, behind powerhouses like Toyota and Mitsubishi.
Honda’s popularity is due to their vehicles’ user-specific design, above-par fuel economy and the company’s dedication to provide the best safety features in their cars.
Honda’s fleet of vehicles
Honda Philippines offers eight car models to Filipino buyers. It has shown strong dominance in the sedan segment with its class leading models like the Honda Accord and the Honda Civic. The smaller Civic uses a 1.8 or 2.0 liter gasoline engine and is priced just below P1 million. On the other hand, the impressive midsize sedan Accord uses a 2.4 or 3.5 liter and has a P2 million price tag, almost the price of an entry level luxury vehicle.
The subcompact Honda Jazz is also a big hit in the local auto scene because of its large cargo space, a feature that differentiates it from most of its rivals in the subcompact car category.
Other vehicles under Honda’s roof are: the Honda City, Honda CR-Z, Honda CR-V, Honda Pilot, and Honda Odyssey.
Loyal Honda clubs
This auto company has one of the most active followings from Filipino Honda fanatics, some of whom have also made their own clubs dedicated to the renowned car brand. Other clubs follow specific car models such as the City, which was the sixth most sold car unit in 2013.
