Another EDSA U-turn to be closed on October 26

More and more U-turn slots in EDSA are being closed, and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is set to do another round  of closing starting Monday next week.

Based on their latest advisory, the U-turn slot located along Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) near Corregidor Street (northbound and southbound) shall be closed to vehicular traffic starting October 26, 2020 at 12:01 AM.

Following this, motorists are urged to take detours:

For those northbound going southbound, affected vehicles may take the U-turn slot after Dario Bridge/in front of Landers. Meanwhile those in the southbound going north, motorists may take the U-turn slot at EDSA-Quezon Avenue flyover.

Last October 12, the U-turn slot (northbound and southbound) in front of Quezon City Academy was closed to traffic. The initiative was made following the closure of U-turn slot along EDSA near Trinoma Mall and North Avenue last Monday.

All these follow the string of closures to ensure the efficiency of the EDSA Busway project.
