Apart from the exterior colors, Toyota made the interior of the Vios in keeping with the car's aim of catering to the widest possible price range and consumer preference.
The Vios goes from P681,000 to P1.02 million across its 10 variants. These trim levels are included in the following grades, arranged from entry level to top-spec: Base, J, XE, XLE, E, G, and the Gazoo Racing Sport (GR-S).
Each Vios variety is as recognizable inside as it is outside.
Drivers of the Vios Base to XE face analog dials for the vehicle speed, tachometer, and fuel gauge. As expected in the price point, these Vios versions use a urethane tiller and shift knob, which controls either a five-speed manual or CVT transmission. An optitron gauge can be seen from XLE to GR-S.
In the Vios Base and J, music can be enjoyed from the 2DIN audio system that's linked to two speakers. From XE and up, a 6.75-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is the centerpiece of those cars' dashboards. This system is linked to four speakers in the XE, XLE, and E, and six speakers in the G and GR-S.
The Vios GR-S adds a 4.2 inch multi-information display on its instrument panel, which also displays a GR logo when the 1.5-liter engines awakens. To create an exciting vibe, the GR-S steering wheel and shift knob are wrapped in leather contrasted by red stitching.
The red stitching continues to the Vios GR-S seats front and back, which adds suede and synthetic leather on top of the fabric seats on its more affordable siblings. GR logos affixed to the headrests push the sporty intent further.
All Vios grades are fitted with Isofix seat mounts, child locks on the rear doors, a driver and passenger airbag, and an airbag for the driver's knees. Seven airbags are available as an option in the Vios Base, J, XE, and XLE trims, while the feature is standard from E to GR-S.
When reverse is engaged in the Vios G and GR-S, the infotainment screen displays the feed from the reversing camera. Upon driving forward, these two cars' door locks to their job once the car reaches a certain speed.
Speaking of door locks, entering the Vios XLE and XE can be done remotely, while the G and GR-S doors unlock on their own, only upon sensing the key in one's pocket or bag.
Meanwhile, all Vios grades are prevented from backing into other cars or objects by hill-start assist, and from losing control in slippery roads by stability control.
