Ford Philippines just unleashed the next-generation Ranger Raptor last week at an event where the local arm of the Blue Oval brand also turned over the first batch of the dressed-up pickup trucks to their excited owners.

Ford made sure that the cabin of the Ranger Raptor comes with trim-specific badges, so you won’t forget you’re riding in one.
Greeting drivers is a very prominent Raptor badge on the steering wheel. Meanwhile, the specially-developed seats — which we will get to in a few — also come with Raptor badges.
Other notable touches include the Ford Performance logo found on the door sill and on its large infotainment system.
During the launch of the next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor in the Philippines, the brand’s local arm explained that the front seats (driver and passenger) of the pickup truck were inspired by jet fighters.
With ample bolstering and cushioning, these seats will keep both the driver and the front passenger snuggly in place when overcoming tough terrains.
Additionally, the seats come with orange trims regardless of the exterior color one chooses for the next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor. The orange accents complement the aforementioned Raptor badging on the steering wheel and on the headrests.
Designed to keep the driver informed and keep the passengers engaged on both short and long trips are the large screens offered by the next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor.
Past the leather-wrapped multifunctional steering wheel is a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and sitting close to it is a 12-inch touchscreen central display in portrait orientation.
Through these screens, the front-row occupants can view relevant driving data as well as check and operate the next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor’s many features.
The next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor also gets a host of aggressive-looking appliques inside its cabin. A good example is its air conditioning vents that mimic the honeycomb pattern found on its massive grille.
Additionally, the dashboard is void of shiny surfaces and gets textured geometrical trims that look like carbon-fiber elements at a glance. The same can be said with its wide center console that comes finished in matt plastic material instead of piano black accents found on vehicles with softer, more plush interiors.
The next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor also comes with a decent amount of onboard technology. Those that one would make use of daily include the wireless charging pad, its wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, its remote vehicle start and stop feature, as well as the slew of advanced driver-assist technologies that come standard with the truck.
Additionally, the next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor also comes with a variety of charging ports including the two outlets found at the bed of the pickup.
The next-generation Ford Ranger has a starting price of P2.339 million.
