From producing the current Honda Civic Type R, Honda UK has added another badge to its production capabilities as it will start selling a topless version of the CR-V in the Honda CR-V Roadster.
Available at UK showrooms from April 1, the Honda CR-V Roadster actually has no roof whatsoever, making it the perfect vehicle for sunnier climates like the Philippines.
The CR-V Roadster was created by removing both the B and C pillars "to create a sleek flow from front to rear." According to Honda UK's Future Opportunity Occupational Lead Eipuriru Fūru, "this is a bold new direction for the CR-V and opens up an entirely new non-existent market. Our sales target is somewhat conservative to start with.. but we are confident that once the minor glitches are ironed out... the car will fly out of showrooms."
