Toyota Motor PH widens next-gen Tamaraw stable

MANILA: The next-generation Toyota Tamaraw’s stable has been widened — more specifically in the GL product line.

Currently available via indent orders, the commercial vehicle’s newest options are the GL version of the Utility Van and Aluminum Cargo to provide more choices to customers.

According to Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), the latest additions to the model’s lineup come as result of “listening to the demands of its market.”

This is what the buyers of the next-generation Toyota Tamaraw’s two new offerings will show they opt any for them.

Vehicle specifications

Under the hood of the two vehicles are 2.4-liter diesel-fed engines (2GD-FTV) that can dish out:

Maximum output (in horsepower)	148
Peak torque (in Newton-meters)	400

Contrary to their standard options that come with five-speed manual gearboxes, the GL variations are paired with six-speed automatic transmissions.

Its braking system comprised of disc- (for the front) and drum-type (rear) mechanisms as well as the suspension system composed IFS coil (front) and leaf springs (rear) ensures stability and stopping power.

Further, the next-generation Toyota Tamaraw GL Utility Van and Aluminum Cargo are fitted with variant-exclusive exterior appointments such as:

• Distinct pair of headlights
• 16-inch alloy wheels covered in 215/65 tires
• Black front bumper skirts

For its cabin, the vehicles feature a seven-inch display studio audio system and a pair of four-way manual-adjustable seats.
