Toyota Raize to be offered in PH next month, starting at P746K

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is set to bring the Raize, and it's coming sooner than expected.

A source told Carmudi Philippines that the subcompact sport utility vehicle will be offered in dealerships starting February 4 as the wholesale to dealerships have started today (January 10).

The wholesale of the model locally (which was first launched in Japan in 2019) will be conducted from today until January 17 for Visayas-Mindanao. Luzon dealerships will start dibs on January 25, the source added.

While the exact specifications of the model are yet to be shared, we receive information that it will be brought four variants: the 1.2 E (in both manual and continuous variable transmission), the 1.2 G CVT and the 1.0 Liter Turbo CVT.

Further, the upcoming crossover will be retailed in the following color options and these are the following:

• Gray Metallic and Silver Metallic 4 (available for the 1.2 E and G CVT)
• Red 2 (exclusive for the (G CVT)
• Two tones Yellow/Black, Turquoise/Black and White Pearl SE and Black (solely for the 1.0 Turbo CVT)

Here are the prices for the four trims of the forthcoming model (which is seen to clash against the low-cost small SUV segment):

• 1.0 Turbo CVT White Pearl: P1.036 million
• 1.0 Turbo CVT: P1.031 million
• 1.2 G CVT: P906,000
• 1.2 E CVT: P816,000
• 1.2 E M/T: P746,000
