Good ride, impressive handling
Good ride and handling, a refined powertrain, well-finished cabin, and several high-tech options make the BMW X3 a great car in its class. The third-generation X3 looks a bit smaller than the X5. But the X3 retains most of the cabin qualities of the X5. The X3’s interior is fairly roomy and there’s good space at the back. But I feel the back seats should have offered more support to the occupants. The 2.0-litre diesel powertrain is the soul of the X3. The suspension could have been better and the drive feels a bit lumpy on broken roads. The handling too is impressive.
