Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) started its journey in the Philippines auto market in the year 1963 in the form of Chrysler Philippines Corporation. It was 1987 when the company was renamed to Philippine Automotive Manufacturing Corporation, and then to Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) in 1996. Now, after spending over 50 years in the Philippines, MMPC is the second-largest seller of automobiles in the country. In 2019 itself, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation sold 64,172 units and latched on to a 15.40% market share.

The current lineup of vehicles offered by MMPC in the Philippines includes the likes of the Montero Sport and Pajero (SUVs), Xpander and Xpander Cross (MPVs), Mirage G4 (Sedan), Strada (Pickup Truck), Mirage (Hatchback), and the L300 (Van).
