MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) identified the dealerships that will accept reservations and retail the all-new bZ4X in the country.

    Relatedly, TMP President Masando Hashimoto shared that the company has been receiving tons of inquiries about the all-new Toyota bZ4X since the reservation period commenced late last week.

    “We are encouraged by the positive reception by the public to the news of bZ4X local release,” Hashimoto said in the statement.

    “Understandably, one of the most asked questions is the average range of the EV. While actual consumption and range will vary based on conditions and driving habits, we were able to register 570 km of EV range. This is based on the internationally accepted Fuel Consumption Test Protocol under UN Regulations No. 101,” he added.

    The launching of the all-new Toyota bZ4X in the Philippines is one of the brand’s initiatives in pushing carbon neutrality via a multi-pathway approach.

    Moving the five-seater electrified crossover is a pair of electric motors (in all-wheel-drive-setup) paired with a 73.11 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion energy bank.

    Moreover, the four-wheeler is fitted with seven airbags, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist, downhill assist, panoramic view monitor, front and rear sonar, and safe exit assist as well as vehicle driver assistive systems under the Toyota Safety Sense suite.

    The vehicle’s will be available in color options namely, Dark Blue Mica, Platinum White Pearl Mica, and Emotional Red — with the pricing varying from P2.699 million all the way to P2.719 million.
