Ford’s European arm has announced that it is now accepting orders for the next-gen Ford Ranger Raptor in the European market. The next-gen pickup truck is said to enable customers to specify and build a performance pickup based on their preferences.
“Being able to build their dream next-gen Ranger Raptor is now a reality for our customers and they can experiment with the range of options with our online configurator. Whatever the combination, Ranger Raptor will always deliver its trademark ultimate off-road driving experience,” said Ford Pro Europe General Manager Hans Schep.
According to the Blue Oval brand, the available options for the next-gen Ranger Raptor include the Raptor Splash Decal Pack and the exterior “Raptor Pack.” The former, priced at £600, will add special skins to the ute while the latter, priced at £1,860, comes with a cab rollover bar and power roll top tonneau cover. Those opting for the new Code Orange premium paint will be set back around £720.
Standard features of the next-gen Ranger Raptor include a twin-turbo 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, Fox Live Valve dampers, and seven selectable drive modes to offer optimized performance on a variety of terrains. In addition, Ford’s European customers can enjoy adjustable engine sounds to suit different driving scenarios thanks to a class-exclusive active exhaust system with four exhaust modes.
