Fuel prices to go up for 7th time in 2022

Oil companies are set to jack up the prices of their products at the pump once again tomorrow as the country will experience its seventh price hike since the start of the year.

    Including the adjustment tomorrow, there have been seven price hikes this year.

    • In their respective advisories, Petron, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, Total Philippines, PTT Philippines and Unioil announced that they will add P1.20 per liter of gasoline and P1.05 per liter of diesel.

    Many of the abovementioned companies also said that they will also raise the price of kerosene by P0.65 per liter.

    Other firms are expected to implement the same price adjustment.

    Including the add-on for tomorrow, the total price hike on pump products since the start of 2022 will be as follows:

    • Gasoline: P7.95 per liter
    • Diesel: P10.2 per liter
    • Kerosene: P9.10 per liter
