Gas companies to jack prices on 2nd week of MECQ

Fuel companies are set to jack the prices of gasoline products at the pump as the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby provinces enter the second week of the modified enhanced community quarantine.

Based on their respective announcements, Shell Philippines and Cleanfuel will be increasing the price of gasoline by P0.25 per liter.

However they will also implement a P0.20 per liter slash on diesel.

Shell added in its advisory that it will also cut down P0.35 per on kerosene.

Other oil firms are expected to reflect similar adjustments tomorrow.

Last August 4, oil companies reduced the prices of products across the board, from gasoline (P0.25/liter), kerosene (P0.15/liter) up to diesel (P0.30/liter).
