Here are some details about the upcoming MIAS 2024

The forthcoming 2024 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) is set to excite gearheads anew as 26 automotive marques — existing, new, and returning —shall participate in the said motoring event.

Organizers shared that the four-day exhibit shall highlight the offerings from BAIC, BAW,Bestune, Changan, Chery, Chevrolet, DAF, Dongfeng, Foton, GAC, GWM, Hongqi, Hyundai, Hycan, JAC, Jetour, JMC, Lynk and Co, Kinglong, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Omoda and Jaecoo, Peugeot, Seres, Subaru, Suzuki, and Weichai.

The aforementioned brands — shall showcase their products within the halls of World Trade Center Metro Manila and SMX Convention Center Manila on April 4-7 on the combined exhibition floor space of 41,000 square meters.

Amid the set-up, a visitor only needs to secure one ticket (priced at P150) to get access on both sites. Event-goers shall also have free shuttle services throughout the day at designated pickup and drop-off points to make visiting the two locations more convenient.

Now in its 19th year, the forthcoming edition of MIAS — dubbed, “Bridging the Future” — shall have numerous segments designed to energize those who will visit the event.

Automotive brands shall unveil and display their newest offerings in the Mobility Marathon portion, while MIAS-Petron Custom Classic Car Competition focuses on some of the best local show cars.

Off-road vehicles, camping rigs, and commercial vehicles shall also be presented at the Truck Zone area while customers can check their eyed models at the Test Drive Zone.

Aside from that, the public will get to see exhilarating performances and stunts — parallel parking in the tightest space, J-turn in the tightest space, and the fastest donuts, among others — at the Russ Swift Stunt Show.

Organized by Worldbex Services International for the benefit of the ABS-CBN Foundation, the 2024 MIAS is co-presented by BPI Auto Loans, and Shell, and is also supported by the Automobile Association Philippines and Petron.

MIAS co-organizer Alvin Uy told Carmudi Philippines that after enjoying around 150,000 visitors last year, the target for the 2024 MIAS is to exceed the numbers by 10-15 percent more.
