Inchcape now has Parco, Cajayon to man Changan Auto PH

Inchcape Philippines has officially announced that the Maricar Parco and Redentor Cajayon have joined the firm — months after it has been appointed as the automaker’s distributor.

The two industry veterans (both recently coming from Astara) led launch of the Changan X7 Plus last Saturday.

As revealed during the program, Parco now serves as the Changan Auto Philippines’ general manager while Cajayon is the Changan Auto Philippines sales and network development vice president.

To note, Parco and Cajayon were the brand heads of Peugeot Philippines and GAC Motor, respectively. The French Lion marque and the Chinese automaker now have Franz Decloedt as it marketing director.

“I’m very pleased to be part of Inchcape,” Parco told Carmudi Philippines.

It was also on the same event that Inchcape Philippines also publicly announced that Changan Auto’s distributorship has been turned over to the former’s management.

Changan Auto’s latest transfer of distributor is its third move since 2019. The aforementioned marque was under Berjaya Auto Asia, then shifted to Changan Motor Philippines under Ma. Fe Agudo.

Further, Inchcape’s partnership with Changan is its first-ever collaboration with the brand in the Asia- Pacific region.

Aside from Changan, Inchcape carries  Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Jaguar, and Land Rover in the Philippines.
