The official local distributor for Japanese truckmaker Isuzu has introduced the latest variant of its much-appreciated D-Max through an online reveal.
At 5PM today (Wednesday, June 17), Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) will reveal on their Facebook page the 2020 D-MAX Boondock 4x4.
The newest iteration started the engines running again for IPC, as it heralded their latest campaign dubbed as “Live Life Differently”, which come timely to respond to the challenges brought by the new normal scenario.
Prior to IPC's premier digital launch, Carmudi reported the specifics about the Isuzu D-Max 4x4 Boondock.
IPC's latest campaign “Live Life Differently” encourages its clients and would-be customers to discover the endless possibilities of driving an Isuzu vehicle.
IPC said that to “Live Life Differently” would mean to simply go beyond the comfort of our homes, to explore the outdoors, and open ourselves up to more adventures, all the while driving an Isuzu vehicle.
With the 2020 D-MAX Boondock 4x4, to “Live Life Differently” now gives the off-roader the added confidence to take his or her adventures a notch tougher, higher, and farther.
IPC President Hajime Koso proudly introduced the 2020 D-MAX Boondock 4x4 as “purposely named after the mountains. The Boondock boasts rough and rugged styling, coupled with the exceptional engine performance of Isuzu—perfect for off-road driving.”
The Isuzu D-Max Boondock 4x4 came more than a year after the 4x2 variant was unveiled.
Built 3.0L D-MAX 4x4 LS-A model, the Boondock trademark gives it a tougher, more rugged personality.
The 2020 D-MAX Boondock 4x4 is still fitted with a Euro-4 compliant 4JJ1-TCX 4-Cylinder in-line Blue Power 3.0-liter diesel power mill with VGS turbo charger and intercooler mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with gearshift indicator or a 6-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift.
The image that the D-Max Boondock is seen in its design and accessories. The monotube nitrogen-charged front and rear shock absorber, steel side steps 265/70 R17 all-terrain tires wrapped around matte black off-road rally type design R17 rims show how this pick-up can work its way on rough terrains.
The Boondock decal on the tailgate is now paired with a new hood and body customized graphics that pays tribute to the country’s highest “boondock”, Mt. Apo.
With Red Spinel, Cosmic Black, Titanium Silver, and Silky Pearl White hues to choose from, the 2020 D-MAX Boondock 4x4 has a price tags of of P1.725 million (MT) and P1.795 million (AT).
As a part of Isuzu’s Monsoon Promo, a P95,000 discount is available until the end of June.
