Mitsubishi Xpander drives MMPC’s July sales
Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is breathing some sigh of relief, as the company announced that they have experienced a significant increase in sales as the country bounces back to normalcy after the COVID-19 pandemic, rolling out some 3,149 vehicles last month.
The sales jump translates to a 39-percent increase in July as compared to June 2020.
The top sales driver for the month was the Mitsubishi Xpander, which sold some 1,038 units in July, reflecting a 63-percent improvement over the previous month’s figures.
Following it is the Mitsubishi Strada, which posted a 58-percent growth month-on-month.

MMPC President and CEO Mutsuhiro Oshikiri said that they are eyeing for continuous progress as the country heads toward the end of the year.
“We at Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation very much appreciate the significant sales improvement achieved in the month of July; not just for the Mitsubishi brand but for the entire automotive industry. The progress represents the commendable capability of the Philippine market to adapt during these trying times,” he said.
“We hope that the strong momentum will continue and we at MMPC will strive harder to provide better offerings both in sales and after sales service. Despite the very challenging situation that we are facing, MMPC remains optimistic and inspired to serve our customers,” the MMPC chief added.

The said model is being retailed for as low as P98,000 down payment or savings as high as P230,000 for cash buyers. Customers may also opt to buy it at zero-percent interest for 36 months.
