Oil firms to increase diesel, kerosene prices
Following an across-the-board rollback last week (November 3), oil companies are poised to increase the prices of diesel and kerosene by the pump by tomorrow (November 10).
Based on their respective advisories, Shell and Petron will jack up prices of diesel by P0.20 after fuel firms had a price slash of P0.85 per liter last week. Cleanfuel, on the other hand, announced that they will not reflect any price movement for the said products this week.
The two biggest oil firms will also raise the price of kerosene by the pump, adding P0.40 per liter to its current pricing . According to Shell, they will not implement the movement on the product in Cavite and Camarines Sur after being instructed by the government to conduct price freeze in the said regions.
Meanwhile, all three companies will trim down their gasoline prices further—reducing another P.0.20 per liter, following the P0.80 per liter slash last week.
Other oil firms are expected to follow suit.
