Oil players continue to reduce pump prices
Despite the gloomy disposition caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, oil companies are making the “Ber months” look more festive as they have just implemented a big-time price roll back on all products by the pump.
Independent oil company Cleanfuel started the rollback today (Monday, September 14), cutting prices of diesel by P1.50 per liter and gasoline by P1 per liter.
Pilipinas Shell, in its advisory today, announced that they will apply a bigger P1.55 per liter price slash on diesel, P1.45 on kerosene, and P1 per liter on gasoline tomorrow (Tuesday September 15).
Other oil companies are expected to impose similar adjustments.
Such across-the-board downward movement on the pricing is the second time this month, after oil players have reduced P0.55 per liter on kerosene, P0.45 per liter on diesel and P0.30 per liter on gasoline last week.
