Petron Corporation shared that its partnership with Toyota Motor Philippines has been further extended after the oil firm was again chosen to be the official fuel and oil partner for the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Vios Cup 2022.
In a statement, Petron said that the race cars in the two main events (Circuit Championship and Autocross Challenge) are all powered by Petron XCS and Petron Blaze racing engine oil.
A 95-octane premium gasoline offering, Petron XCS is formulated with a high-performance additive that has a unique combustion catalyst and excellent detergent to ensure quicker response, excellent engine protection, and optimal fuel efficiency.
Racers who participated at the TGR Vios Cup 2022 Leg 1 last July 2 shared the insights about the Petron XCS.
Young racer Iñigo Anton said that the Petron XCS “works very well with the race cars as well as their road cars” while Sporting Class’ Joaquin Garrido and Red Diwa both observed that they have not experienced power drop on their vehicles.
On the other hand, Petron Blaze racing engine oil’s Thermal Stress Stabilizing System (TS3) complements the benefits of using Petron XCS. The aforementioned product provides the engine protection against stress while maintaining superior cleanliness.
