Lamborghini started offering the new version of the Urus to the Philippine market.
Per Lamborghini Philippines, the newly-launched Lamborghini Urus S gives customers increased power, comfortable ride, versatile driving modes, and a commanding presence.
“The Urus has proven its appeal for those seeking the decisive combination of the sportiest SUV and a Lamborghini to drive every day. The Urus S is perfect for those choosing the purest sublimation of performance, luxury and versatility,” Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stephan Winkelmann said.
Delivering power for the Lamborghini Urus S is the V8 twin turbo engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that has the capacity to dish out 657 horsepower and 850 Newton-meters of torque — boasting a 3.3 kilograms per hp power-to-weight ratio.
Such output lets the vehicle cover 0-100 kilometers per hour (kph) in 3.5 seconds, 0-200 kph in 12.5 seconds and peak at 305 kph.
Guaranteeing the stopping power are the carbon ceramic brakes discs matched to 10-cylinder monobloc calipers in the front and single-cylinder floating calipers in the rear. The system halts the vehicle from 100kph to a full standstill in 33.7 meters.
The Lamborghini Urus S comes in four on-road drive modes (Strada, Sport, Corsa and Ego), and offers three off-road settings (Terra, Neve, and Sabbia that guarantees enjoyment). Dampening the humps and bumps on the road are the adaptive air suspension.
Further, the new Lamborghini Urus S is fitted with matte black, stainless-steel skid plate and a black grille in the front; 21-, 22- (Nath in titanium matte and diamond- polish finish), or 23-inch (Taigete in bronze or diamond-polish) wheels; twin-tailpipe exhaust finished in brushed steel, optional matte or gloss black — or the Ad Personam option in bright chrome.
For its interior, the Lamborghini Urus can be had in new bicolor Sportivo and Sophisticated options. The bicolor Sportivo is more discreet, the Sophisticated black leather trim has new contrast color options in Blu Leandro and Verde Aura, along with tan, cream and brown.
Moreover, the new Urus S’ connectivity features include navigation, security and several in-car control services.
