About GAC Philippines

One of the many Chinese automakers trying set foot in the Philippines, GAC Motor entered the Philippines in 2018. Managed by Legado Motors in the Philippines, GAC Motor boasts a portfolio that encompasses as many as six models to cater to the different needs and demands of the Filipinos.

Part of the GAC Motor portfolio in the Philippines are the likes of the GM8 (MPV), GS8 and GS4 (SUVs), GA8 and GA4 (Sedans), and the GS3 (Crossover). With a starting price of Php 788,000, the GAC GA4 is the cheapest offering up for grabs, whereas the GAC GM8 with its price tag of Php 2.88 million sits at the top as the most expensive model in the lineup.

According to the list released by CAMPI, TMA, and AVID, in 2019, GAC Motor sold 234 units in the Philippines. The Chinese automaker stood at the 25th spot on the list with a 0.0% market share.
