Used Mitsubishi Adventure GLS Sport
The Mitsubishi Adventure is a compact asian purpose vehicle (APV) built by its Japanese manufacturer, Mitsubishi, together with the China Motor Corporation. It is assembled in China, Taiwan and the Philippines and is meant for the Asian market. Its GLS Sport variant is its most sold trim level.
This five-door APV can seat seven to nine people depending on its third row seat configuration. For the past 5 years, it has consistently dominated the country’s local market. In 2013, it sold more than 5,000 brand new units, making it the fifth most sold vehicle model for that year, behind its toughest competitor the Toyota Innova.
Second hand Mitsubishi Adventure
The Adventure was first introduced in 1997. Since then it has received two major facelifts, one in 2001 and the other in 2004, and a minor redesign in 2009. This vehicle is one of the longest sole generation models in Mitsubishi’s fleet.
Locally, it is sold with a 2.5 liter SOHC diesel engine which produces 74 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. On average, it can accelerate in less than 20 seconds and has a fuel consumption of 13 kilometers per liter in highway conditions.
Adventure GLS Sport features
The GLS Sport trim has 14 inch alloy wheels, multi-reflector headlamps, roof rails, a laminated windshield, fender flares and a swing type rear door. Optional features include LED turn signal lamps on its side mirrors, a cargo tray and a rear bumper skirt.
Inside it has a roomy interior cabin with childproof locks, air conditioning, keyless entry, and a CD and MP3 player. Its impressive road performance, decent price tag and spacious luggage area are some of its strong points that make it stand out among other multi purpose vehicles (MPVs).
